Tonight was Mr. Reichert's recital. IF YOU DIDN'T GO, THEN YOU MISSED OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! not that anyone knew about it (besides A and B), but still. I even skipped class for it.

I thought I was going to be taking it easy this semester, but that is not the case. I didn't think that two history classes would provide this many hours of delightful reading, or that my Beethoven project would drag on so long, or that yes, I still need to practice a decent amount of piano if I want to make something of myself. I also have to put more hours in at work than I did all summer. Now, it's 10:45 at night, and I am just now starting on Everything, and I didn't even practice today. The way to handle all this is to just not care, but still manage to keep some kind of work ethic and momentum. I also suggest (if you're a woman) to wear high heels all day because they make you feel empowered. Onward and upward! (Don't worry about your knees, you can get replacements later on!)

I have definitely decided not to change my last name when I get married. It is an unnecessary social convention. My feminist history prof didn't. She is my new role model.

Eat something, we want to hear about every single meal.

Stop listening to your anti-Christian, femi-nazi profs.

I hope you're joking. If not, we need to talk.

With the peanuts you'll earn with your classics major, you'll never be able to afford knee replacements. Not to mention all the podiatary work you'll need to have done.

Poor Red, she's going to be the liberal, annorexic troubled artist black sheep of the family.
