ONE MORE TO GO
I handed in my history paper, took my Latin exam, and played my jury today. Tomorrow I have my last exam, which is for the hated political science class.
I sold 8 of my history books and I got a grand total of 19 bucks for them. The $59 "Women writers of the Renaissance and Reformation" book brought in $2. The $45 "The Holy Family: Women in the Reformation" brought in $3. I bet if I tried to sell them myself they would give like a $1, or less since they won't be using me in a class next semester. I would have been encouraged to donate myself to the worthy cause that had set up a table outside to collect whatever nobody could sell. After I played my piano jury, I went to McDonalds and ordered half the dollar menu with my 19 bucks.
On a side note, there is nothing like a good-looking tenor in a suit. I accompanied one on Monday. I was quite impressed. He has decided to leave the department, however. He said the music major lifestyle was too intense: "It's like it's midterms here every week!" Alas, the first good-looking tenor in a suit I have ever met is already no more.
