Foot in mouth
The other night at Bible Study I commanded Ms. Hunter to post on her blog. This reasonable sentiment, word of its existence spreading quickly across both the real and the cyber realms, has been met with a surprizing amount of ironic judgement and sarcasm, spawning such phrases as "that's fine for Loretta to say when she hasn't posted in two months" and I have been stung into redeeming my polite request of Ms. Hunter, which was actually very appreciated by most, by making this very post.
The above demonstrates my lately learned and indepth knowledge of how to use subordinate clauses. Of course, one only writes this way in Latin, but isn't cool how that entire paragraph is only two sentences? Cicero would be proud. To take this further, the order of clauses I used goes: main, adjectival, main, adjectival, main, relative, adverbial. Nice. Feel free to correct me if I am wrong.
I have been having a usually busy semester. This whole past week was unusually difficult. I was weepy and tired and unable to get out of bed and on Friday I actually skipped Latin because I just couldn't do it anymore. I did not practice yesterday either. Well, wouldn't you know it, I came down with pneumonia today, which explains it all. I have been lying in bed all day, whining for Evie to do things for me. Daddy made me soup which was really good.
I am preparing a recital for Saturday, April 14, 2007 at 1:00 in the afternoon. So far, all my pieces are a disaster. I was supposed to have a lesson today (yes, on Saturday) but naturally I had to cancel. I don't know what is to become of me.
Well, back to online shopping, the latest craze among the Lorettas of 2007.
